Okay.. i really want... a contacts app that is...wait for it... as good as the stock app (SGS i9000).

Yes i said it.

I'm blown away by the sheer number of apps available, as well as the fact that so many of them are free. Big up developers.

I'm puzzled as to why contacts / dialer apps seem to be falling short. Am i just not looking hard enough?

I really, really want the swipe-left-to-message/right-to-call feature from the stock app. This reduces keystrokes by 3!

if the stock contacts app opened with an alphanumeric keyboard, no market dialer would be as good.
