Parts ordering app?

Curious if anyone knows of a customizable app for parts ordering? One that would let you enter in part descriptions/numbers from your inventory, select a quantity and then send to an email in a formatted text.

For instance...

Description Part No. Qty.

PartXYZ 1234567 2

If not, how involved would it be to create such an app and what where would be a good place to start? I'm no programmer, but if I had an easy to use GUI or comprehensive guide to create such, I think I could manage.

Feel free to PM me if you want.

I think it would all depend on what format your parts inventory is in; do you want internet or intranet access; etc.

I am starting to get back into development so this may be something to look into.
