Rhythm game for Android
I'm actually kind of shocked that this late in the game there still isn't any high quality rhythm games for android. I'm a huge fan of rhythm games (many people are) and would really like to see one on the market.
The number one reason why a dev should pick this up is....
$$$
There are only a very small handful of actual rythm games on the market. The only one thats playable is Frets on fire. Guitar hero and some other "homemade" ones are too buggy and laggy.
As a Dev when it comes to rhythm games you have a lot of choices.
1. You can simply create a DDR clone (Like tap tap revolution)
2. Port an already made game (like stepmania) open source
3.Create their own new type of rhythm game
The key thing for the game to be a success is the music, and the quality. A clean cut game that works perfectly will bring in cash.
plus if the game really is good it could easily place in ADC3 (if there is one).
The key thing here is that a high quality rhythm game for android is made.
If your up for this please post. I have some ideas of my own if you need any just ask.
Also if you feel like making this app for free by all means go ahead and do that.
