Hello,
Ive recently acquired a new android tablet and one of the ways I would like to use it is to track my sales calls and sales activities.

I would like a customizable database like you would build in Access but much simpler.

A few of the key components

tablet ready
data population thru excel (or similar)
customizable fields and layout
the ability to sort on fields and perform lookups
linkability to stock calendar app so future appointments show up
data backup

Im sure there are more things but I cant think of them now.

Im in outside sales and I call on doctors. Ideally I would like a tool that that I can use to make myself more effective.

Example if Im in Raleigh for a meeting and that meeting ends early... I would like to search my tablet for other docs in Raleigh that have clinic that day. Also I would like to see the additional info I have on that doc etc and be able to add to the info after the call.

Anybody interested in this project? I am sure there is a market for this seeing as how many people are in outside sales.

This effectively sounds like a locally hosted sales force application? where you can create clients, entities and what not on your device and search through them. If i am understanding you correctly, i can help out with this.

There are a few CRM programs out for tablets. I am currently using handheld contact on my iPad to sync up with my act CRM on my laptop. Another goodie would be companion link with dejaoffice.

If your looking for a free one check out zoho CRM. It's a web based relationship manager.
