Not sure if this is possible, BUT,

I own a Thunderbolt. This device like many others has 4 buttons at the bottom. I NEVER use the search button and would love to be able to change the function to an alt-tab like button that would drop down the top bar that shows the recently used apps.

Possible?

Press home button for 2 seconds. You'll get the recently used applications.
