I have searched the market and have not been able to find an app that would meet the following need.

I would like some assistance in developing an app that would allow users to setup appoimtments with one or more host users.

In a salon setting, instead of calling to book an appointment, the user would use the app to select the registered hairdressers, the app would show the open dates and times for each hairdresser via the calendar. The hairdresser would receive an update and they would confirm, deny or propose a new time.

So you would have the end user that uses the app to view the calendar and set appointments, after a time is set, a reminder is also added to the user calendar.

The app would have to be able to build list of salons that want to offer the service. Then it would require the hairdresser to sign up and set their hours. The hairdtesser would then receive a request and approve, deny or propose new ti,e and add it to their calendar.

Let me know thoughts and if perhaps there is something out there

It's odd that you mention this, as we are currently working on a 3-piece Appointment solution that incorporates web, desktop, and mobile applications that all work together as one system. If there is any specific features you would like to see, please let us know.

I think aside from the mobile, destop options I believe that allowing the app to integrate adding the location/business as a contact and contain gps capabilities as well as rating and review from users. Think something like this is usefull if u would find yourself in a new city and wanted to find and set an appointment with someine from that area without havung to call or go to the place.
