Hi,

Okay so I dont have 3g internet and the only way i use internet is through wifi. But its hard to find wifi everywhere and that is a reason i dont have any widgets that use internet. I am pretty sure there will be many people like me.

I was wondering if its possible to have a widget that updates through text message rather than internet, since i have unlimited text messages. I think it is possible since Smoozy uses text messages too.

I hope someone can make this.

This would require the news and weather server end to send the text messages isn't it? Your solution is two-fold. Server end need to be developed to send text messages and then the client Android app need to be developed to display those messages.
