Hello there. I wonder if there is an opportunity to develop a screen lock app that if you type the wrong password more than 3 times, it performs a soft reset on your phone.

Yes im paranoid and i really dont want other ppl to see whats on my phone if it gets stolen.

I appreciate all help, tips and ides you guys have to give.

Just buy a security app from the market. You can lock/wipe/locate/ etc. etc. From another smartphone or PC. Lookout, TekTrak, where's my droid, and Seekdroid are just a few examples. If your phone is ever stolen or lost you're going to be glad you have a security app.

well i have a security app. the problem is if the cops arrest me i dont want them to be able to search my phone. i want it to automaticly wipe if the password is incorrect more than 3 times.

If the cops arresting you is a top concern for you, might want to stop whatever you are doing or don't want them to see.

they do have apps that lock messages from being veiwed if thats where the loot lay? what are you trying to wipe? all of it?
