Application Request codename: Maestro
With all smartphones can do simultaneously, seems there would be room for an application (set) launcher (or coordinator) set to certain conditions... ie:
Road: launches mp3 player, and any associated audio enhancement apps, turns on gps antenna and navigation or Gmaps, maybe a gps speed app and hands-free.
Work: decreases volume, turns off gps and road software if was running, if wi-fi is avail, turn it on, etc.
Home: (if wi-fi is avail) turn on wi-fi, set display to lowest setting, turn off any gps or road apps, maybe check google play for updates, etc
What I'm getting at is it takes me almost 5 mins one seated in my truck to turn on gps, set display timeout to never off, turn on google music turn on audio enhancer, launch maps, launch gps speed app and plug in audio out cable and charger then set in mount, then buckle up. And when arrive at destination, turn all these back off, one at a time.
I thought of the name Maestro as it would "conduct" the "players" and coordinate their actions. I'm not sure of any OS limitations for one app launching another, seems like could be mis-read as an attack, so maybe I'm reaching too far, but I would pay for this convenience.
Thank you for your time.
