don't know why, but it isn't emailing... it says it is sending email but nothing is being sent.

Odd, I have had no issues with my trials. Add a test student with the email address of defsoftsol@gmail.com and Ill let you know if I get the email. You can also double check your user data to be sure your gmail information is entered properly.

Also, the parent's name field not clearing when adding new students has been changed. It will come into affect with the next update.

hmm. you're right, I did not receive the email. Did you double check your gmail credentials? For some reason if you enter it wrong and therefore the gmail auth fails, the app doesnt notify you. Im working on this, there is a check system in there, it just appears not to be working. As long as your gmail addy and pass are correct its a non issiue.

Try re-entering your gmail info (make sure your entering your gmal as username@gmail.com, not just username), and verify the correct password is in there.

Been fiddling with this, not sure what is causing it. But it seems if you re-enter your gmail info in user data, then force stop the app completely, reopen, it will work.

To force stop do the same as you did to clear the app data, but do not click clear data button, instead click force stop, agree to the pop up message, then back out of settings and retry the app.

Yes! That worked...

other needs as it develops.

Ability to import/export databases
Another database to create your own email forms with fields to select from (other things besides homework issues)
Multiple email addresses and parent/guardians/tutors
Ability to send text message (Some parents do not use email)
When selecting a class only the students in that class are in the student list

I am in a small school and for my personal needs the only thing I really need other than what it currently has is the ability to import and export databases (Backup) and the ability to add other parents (emails) to a single student.

Thanks for what you are doing.

The Android market is a freemarket environment. That is what makes it great. If you are able to offer a better product for less, then do it!! I'll definitely look at any project that is done for this need.

I am glad that worked for you, I received the emails you sent using the test student.

I'll look into DB import/export for you (I'm assuming would like backup to SD card?) as well as continuing to fiddle with adding multiple emails for one student.

If I were in a public school with 200 students running through my classes, it would be nice to be able to import a csv...

A parent emailed me and suggested I notify them of what assignments are going home as well... So the ability to produce my own form would really be nice

Just uploaded new apk. Added ability to enter 2 parental contacts per student. Still looking into making your own form, have been busy lately with family issues. Working on this as much as possible.
