Default Kindle for Android: Not bad at all

I have been using a Kindle 2 for almost a year now and love it. The Kindle app on a Droid works pretty good. If you leave the wireless connection on, on your Kindle, the app will sync with it, so when you open a book on the app, it will be on the same page as the Kindle. Of course anyone with a Kindle knows that leaving the wireless on kills your battery quickly, so mine is always off until I want to download a new book. Not much else to say really, if you like to read and have a Kindle and an Android phone, this app is great when your Kindle is not around. I guess if all you have is an Android and no Kindle, the app still works for buying and reading books, but I am not sure if I could read an entire book on a phone and not go blind.

Well, I just did (on my Desire) and I can still see. Actually, it was much more pleasant than I had anticipated/feared.

I totally agree. I don't have a Kindle but I do have this app on my EVO. I am burning thru books like crazy. I love it!!! Of course the EVO has a pretty big screen but I wasn't sure I would be able to read books this way. No problem at all!!!!

I had thought about using this but not sure the typical phones display like the galaxy S is meant to be used for hours on end of reading. I would hope their lifespan is just as long as a regular pc display but who knows.
