Default Meridian Media Player Pioneer: A Slightly Ugly but Highly Functional Media Player

When I purchased my first Android device, Meridian Media Player was one of the first applications I ever downloaded, and even after a year and two different devices, it is still my favorite application for playing my video files. It has a fairly simple interface that works very well for videos, and I enjoy using the swipe gesture to seek while playing a file. My only two negative things to say about this application are that first, it does not in my opinion have an attractive UI as it uses bright oddly placed colors, and some odd accent choices. Second, and this is a problem with all media players found in the market, it is unable to find any media files that are stored on the phone storage of my Incredible. All in all, I would recommend Meridian to anyone, as I feel it has better features than many of the competing media players, including the stock Android or HTC players.
