World DroidCup (World Cup): Straight forward application for the World Cup
At first glance, this application does exactly what I thought it would and nothing more. I was sadly right.
It will keep scores and inform you of the match fixtures but so does other World Cup applications. It does not have updated (or real time) news about the World Cup or the players. But is does feature a "real time" update as the match is in progress. I'm not sure how that will work but if it does, it will be terrific for those who aren't in front of their TV during the game. Then again, who wouldn't be in front of their TV during a game?!
It does have a feature utilising Google Maps to show you where the stadiums are. Nice!
The interface is clean and without ads. I like that.
