Mobile Buzz Widget: Excellent Widget for Mobile News Updates
Mobile Buzz Review
For those like myself who tend to be obsessed with keeping up on the ever-increasing technological world, then Mobile Buzz is a must have App/Widget. Mobile Buzz is a 4x1 widget that displays general mobile news feeds that are updated frequently, at the users choice. This little app is how I found out about the app contest on Phandroid! The widget displays the title, origin of the feed, time since the article was published, and the picture or video that was posted with the article not to mention the full article text. The widget also has a link to read the full article which opens up the default browser.
Pros:
-Home-screen mobile news updates
-Differentiate between general mobile news and news from different mobile platforms
-Control Refresh Rate
Cons:
-No skins
-Cannot control the origin of the feeds
-One widget size
-Max of 20 feeds
Tested on Nexus One running Froyo 2.2
