how to root android 2.3.3 sony arc?

ok i finally figured out how to install the android 2.3.3 manually on the sony arc.
anyone need help let me now.

before this i rooted the phone via gingerbreak 1.20 version no problem one click of a button.
this 2.3.3 doesnt seem to be able to root on the sony arc, gingerbreak takes ages and eventually does nothing while trying to root.
anyone know if theres a simple way to root this now ?
i cant restore my titanum backup now :/
pretty sure the 2.3.3 was meant to be rooted anyway wasnt it ?

]you can root 2.3.3 go to xda forums for help, you need to flash phone first with 2.3.3 ftf file then the rooted 2.3.3. system image to be rooted, works fine now on rooted 2.3.3

As far as I can see rooting 2.3.3 is currently only possible with an unlocked bootloader.

Otherwise it's a case of waiting like we had to when the phone was first released.

Hi, I need to change form lt15i to lt15a as my network here HDSPA and my phone is WCDMA. so I get is the EDG speeds. does any one have the lt15a rom as all links I tried don't work. please send to @ homeconsult@gmail.com
