Default Dual Boot

For Archos 70

Anyone how to get a dual boot on Linux and Android versions?
Just thinking if it's possible then Skype can be loaded for Linux and will work.
Ideas?

We still don't have permanent root on the Archos 70. When we do, dual boot could be a possibility but I'm guessing that it will be much like all the Android phones with just better, aftermarket ROMs available.

I read some where that Archos has released the software for the A70 to dual boot in the last couple of days. I did not pay to much attention to it as I am still waiting for my unit.

Found this last night when overclocking to 1.2GHz with Temp Root (Pretty good "step-by-step" here for temp root and OC'ing: xda-developers - View Single Post - Is there any way to root 2.0.71)

Here is the release notes for the GDE: CNXSoft – Embedded Software Development GPL Source code and SDE for Archos Gen8 Devices

So yes, you can boot into Linux...but I don't know if you can get Skype on it or not (I'm actually a PC guy...so I don't know jack about Linux). I have no idea how functional this is but I'm sure a lot of people smarter than I are busy playing with it
