Why? Micro SD is the new standard in most electronics. It is smaller and allows for thinner devices because it takes up less room.

And offers more than 2x the duty life (rated for 10,000 plug/unplug cycles versus 5,000 for Mini-usb).

Good call...however, if I plugged my phone in 5 times per day, every single day, the duty life would still be rated for almost 3 years with the mini USB connector
