Default memory problem when using appslib

I cant download anything. Keeps saying i have no memory, but my internal free space is 7G.
I've not downloaded anything yet, so could be something in the set up.

Please help.

Actually I think I may have posted this in the wrong thread. My device is a Archos 70 not 7,

it could be because the apps are installing to 'system memory' and not the nand memory you can move the apps most of the time to the '8 gig partion (nand memory)' via the following path
settings..applications..storage use..
then select an app from list by tapping on it on the next 'page' you will see 'move to sd card (if the tab is white then you can move to sd card.)The Arnova calls the internal 8gig storage SD card for some reason so theres no need to rush out and buy a micro sd card unless you have already filled the 8gig via your pc with files (music/video etc)
You can repeat this for all the apps that can be moved to free up space
I use the internal 8 gig for Apps and a 16gig micro sd card for files (music/video and other files etc)
I hope this helps you and anyone else that reads this post who recently aquired an Arnova.
