E-Reader or Arnova??
To tell the truth I dont even have an Android device yet but heres what sparked my interest
I was looking for an E-Reader the other day and had very nearly purchased a Sony when a guy at Currys pointed me in the direction of an Archos Arnova (Hope I got the name correct) 7" Android tablet for £99.
He said you could get software to turn it into a Kindle. Was this correct and would it have the same functionality or better?
I saw one on Ebay for £69 but it had somthing called Gingerbread operating system whilst the Currys one has Ice Cream Sandwich - Which is better and why?? (I understand Icecream is the latest software)
Also can you upgrade the preinstalled software like Gingerbread to Ice Cream Sandwich yourself or are you stuck with the version the device comes with?
It certainly looked more interesting than a dedicated E-Reader even if it is a Sony
Thanks in advance
