Default ad-free

Is ad-free suppose to block ads in web browsers and apps? My ads still show up and my phone is rooted

I found it impossible to get ad-free to work on my stock aria. In theory it should work as you are just adding entries to the /etc/hosts file but for some reason I could not get that file updated. I have now completely replaced the factory rom with CM6 and could probably get it to work but I do not really see that many adds. I dont surf the web much though.

I believe it only blocks ads in the apps not the web. Also, there will still be a white box where the ad should be.

Because I would like to support developers and encourage more FREE, ad supported apps, I would never use the program so I can't tell you if it works.
