Yes, if your HBOOT is still at version 1.02, then there is currently no rootable exploit that has been discovered for this version. You may want to keep checking the Unrevoked twitter page for any updates or breakthroughs in that area. Most of the resent HTC phones that were released with 2.1 and have received the 2.2 OTA update have been affected, so this is not unique to the Aria.
