I am using a gmail account, and synchronizing my phone calendar along with my google calendar. for some reason, i am getting duplicate events. is it just a phone copy and the google calendar copy?

i also have activesync... what is that? does that just allow the phone and google to sync and compare the calendars?

I had the same problem. Try unsyncing the calendars and rebooting your phone, and the resyncing. I'm on cyanogen (I'm assuming your on the stock rom) so it may not work for you, but I'd give it a shot.

hm, i had to uncheck "exchange" in the calendars screen.

Duplicate events on HTC Desire when sync to the office Microsoft Exchange calendar. How can I resolve this. New HTC. Deleting exchange account, resetting it - sync events 1st time is fine but subsequent sync duplicates events.

do you have the latest rom update from HTC? i think this was one of the issues that was fixed, but im not sure.

My exchange calendar and google/phone calendar sync fine - before and after the update.
