Default No joke - getting the dock really transformed my TP experience

I've been really struggling to get myself to love the Transformer Prime tablet. From the buggy software to the so so browser experience -- to the announcement that a new TP is on its way -- it seemed like I kept finding more things to be disappointed with.

But that all changed today when I got the dock.

The dock really does transformer the TP experience, as corny as that sounds. I think the keyboard is very responsive, the trackpad works extremely well (and has gestures for swiping and scrolling), and of course it is another 8 hours of power.

But more than all that, having the dock connected seems to make the whole system work more smoothly. I'm just really impressed.

Anyway, if there is anyone on who is wondering whether or not the dock is worth it, my vote is a YES!

I just wish keyboard manufacturers didn't have this ill conceived notion that users love razor sharp edges.

my dock showed up with my tablet so i've known nothing else, but as far as the keyboard/trackpad lag - i never had a problem to begin with, but have noticed it is much more improved with the ics update.

I just got my keyboard yesterday, and I've been having fun getting the hang of it. I'm really excited about the added utility of the tablet now. I don't foresee taking my laptop anywhere at this point.

i do a lot of traveling and took my laptop on all hte trips. i have a 16.4" screen laptop to do CAD work on, so it's a monster. with this tablet, on day trips i will no longer need to bring it. on multi day trips i will still have the laptop, but will be using the tablet to watch movies on the plan.

right now i am messing around with the tablet so that i can start using it for presentations (powerpoint or pdf). my office needs a new projector so i will make sure our new one has an hdmi input too.

I've found that my laptop, which I keep right next to my recliner, sits unused most of the time now. The Prime is so easy to pick up and just do stuff on, whether it be browse, email, game, etc. However, I'm one of the ones waiting on their champagne gold dock to ship. I'd like to see just how much my Prime with dock can replace the daily usage of my laptop. This device sure has created more wait time for me than I'm accustomed to. I suppose I'm being forced to learn some patience!
