i bought this one from amazon and it fits the prime with the dock like a glove. i like that it has a pocket for accessories/charger, and the design of the opening.
i just ordered this one today. personally, i was a little concerned that the rooCase, MoKo, etc ones, that are all-encompassing, would get in the way of using the edges of the screen. for $20 (with s&h), it's worth a try...
Comes with a screen protector too but I may not use it.
I'm only going to use the back piece since it's the only part that touches when sitting on a table or countertop etc.
I'll get a sleeve eventually but I hate to put it in a case full time. I like the feel of it without anything on it and the thickness is one of the reasons I waited for an Android tablet this thin. I'm not going to use it at work or anything. I see getting some sort of case long term but for now I'll go with the Skinomi and a sleeve.

I am very impressed with the Skinomi product. I only put on the back protector. It came with some skinny side pieces but I didn't install them. I still have not installed the screen protector but it is very nice, high quality and thick. Thicker than the ones you buy in a 3 pack or 10 pack.
Here are some pictures and it really feels like carbon fiber. It actually gives the back some non-slip properties and no finger prints to be found.
This shows the true color. I don't know why the above picture is goldish.

Just ordered the same Skinomi as above because like you, I noticed some light scratches on the backplate and besides , carbon fiber looks good on anything !
As far as Skinomi's screen protectors, I bought one for my Droid Charge awhile back and wasn't too happy with the finished product, so will probably leave Prime's screen bare.
Also there's a site called Decalgirl , who I've used in the past, that makes skins just about for any device out there.............very surprised they don't have anything out for the prime yet !

Do you find that the skin interferes with the dock at all? I put a Skinomi cover on the front of the device and it bunches up a little when it goes into the dock. I'm working with them to resize it to avoid that problem and they are being very helpful. I'll report back when things come to a conclusion.

I don't have a dock.
I have not put on the screensaver yet (I assume that is what is bunching up on yours). Please let us know what they say or do about the issue. Let them know that there are fourm members that have their product and if it is found to be a problem we would like replacements.

But thanks for laughing at my choice.
I've been looking for cases for a while and have yet to decide.
There are some really cool cases similar to roo cases that attach via a plastic device to allow them to spin etc. But I have a real issue with them, as with phone cases that have any hard plastic attachment on them, they will eventually mark your phone/tablet.
So I would prefer a soft attachment myself.

Been trying to buy a Vipertek slim leather case or one of the many out there that are exactly the same and each time I preorder one, it becomes unavailable just before the release date. Can't understand why they are so hard to stock. The one I have for my Galaxy Tab is fantastic. Hoping it gets handled.
Has anyone come across a hard case that closes around the prime? I've been wanting to use my prime to take notes at school, but don't want to put it in my back pack with all my books when I don't have a hard case on it.

I have two different versions of the Vipertek case coming for my Asus Transformer Prime which is also on its way. If I end up keeping the Prime, I will be selling one of them or maybe both if the Prime doesn't function as well as would like...

So Skinomi emailed me back and I sent them a ton of photos and measurements.
They said they are redesigning the skin for the screen (which is what I had problems with). I've since taken a spare they sent me to test and put it on the back (with some personal modifications) and I love it.
So I suggested they modify the back skin as well to make sure it docks just fine and also suggested I'd buy a skin for the base of the keyboard if they made it (the back part, obviously not the keys...).
If you have an unused skin from Skinomi, you can just use a razor blade to score the skin and then a pair of decent scissors to make the cut along the scored line.

I'll post back when I hear more.

"Yes the entire skin is being redesigned as we speak, so that it is compatible with the keyboard dock. As for the keyboard dock we will be posting the listing on our page in the next 2 weeks. We will offer all forms of skin for the dock so keep your eye out for the listing to apperar. I hope this is helpful and have a great day!"
Overall the product is nice. Well built, metal zippers and an internal flap to hold the device and protect it from the zipper. External pouch with zipper which is a nice touch for HDMI cable, stylus etc. Neoprene inside and out.
The product was described as an Asus Transformer Prime sleeve. It is actually more of the iPad form factor as evident because of the extra 1/2 inch in height in landscape position. I'm going over to a friend’s house for the games tomorrow and check it with his iPad 2. The description did say it can accommodate the dock and the tablet but since I don't have a dock (will get one eventually) it may be just enough room for the hinge.
This is a shot of the protective flap. The Prime fits but there is a lot of space between it and the top of this flap. Again I think the dock will take up most of this space by adding the hinge and thickness.
The last shot is the Prime sitting inside the sleeve on top of the internal flap. You can see how much bigger the sleeve is.
Overall it's an eBay hit or miss special. There are probably a lot of better fitting sleeves out there but for $16 and free shipping (not to mention I received it in two days) it's not a bad sleeve. I just don't think its Prime specific, it's more of a generic sleeve. The most negative thing was a plastic business card holder inside where the screen would be in contact with. I didn't like the way it felt so I cut it out. It came out easily. Made in China so we'll see how it holds up.
Hope this helps.

Reason: REVIEW ADDED
I just got my roo case in the mail today, and I must say that I love it. Its kind of like my dad's iPad case, but actually puts the tablet at a somewhat good angle for typing. I do have to say though, the case smells a little odd when it comes inn lol. But overall it's a good case and feels pretty well made.
I have the Roo case and it's OK. Only drawbacks are the power button is a little difficult to press because the edge of the case gets in the way and as someone else mentioned you can't plug in the charger while it is closed.

Looks to be very similar to the Blurex and Vertek case except for the color of brown vs the Blurex/Vertek blue. Still waiting for it, but a user on Amazon took pictures of the case with shipping. It has a charge port so you can use with the case on. I know some don't. Personally I would have rather had the blue lining but I would much rather have a case period. The Blurex and Vertek have been out of stock for a while and I stumbled on this while looking for those. It's also $20.
EDIT: Poetic lining is actually a light grey and the Amazon picture looks light brown.

huh... the item description says that it's for the TF201. but, regardless, it fits my Prime perfectly. and, the case i got is different than the one you link to, at least in design (my case doesn't completely encase/surround the Prime, which i like, because the case doesn't interfere with me using the screen edges, and it has a port for charging when the case is closed). anyway, i really like the one i ended up with.

I received the case today and the color on Amazon's website looked light brown to me and it's actually a light grey. I'm either suffering from crappy laptop, color blindness or could be in a wacky geek accessory dream!? Anywho, haven't put it through the paces yet (as I haven't even opened my Prime box yet), but it looks and sounds almost dead on with specs and layout of the Blurex and Vertek.
Also, the felt lining seems a little "hard". I am coming from an Acer Iconia A500 with the Targus (Monster thick) Truss and the lining/foam was much softer to the touch. Seems like this would soften over time, but putting something that "solid" next to that beautiful screen seems a little scary. Any comments on that texture question to the owners of the Blurex or Vertek?
I got my parents this case for their iPad and it's by far the best quality folio type case I've seen -much better than the Moko, Verteks, Poetic, Blurex, etc. It has a very classy carbon fiber look and a cool hand strap as shown in the video. It also feels a little slimmer than the Poetic case I have for the Prime.
If you'd be interested in this case, please post in the Facebook thread posted below. If there's a big enough response, they've said they would make one for the Prime.
Really enjoying the propping, viewing angle features, and I like the magnets that keep the folio case closed. The velcro is TOUGH so no concerns about the tablet falling out.
But it isn't as sexy as the others I've seen in here.
I took a chance and bought one of these. What is really nice about this one that they dont tell you is that its attached by a big brass snap and its right in the middle so you can easily flip the case over. No Velcro...
This is the same one I bought. It looks fine, seems to protect the tablet well, and it was pretty cheap. I initially bought it to suffice until the origami-style cover came out, but now I like how it protects the back as well as the front, so I may just keep it until something significantly better comes along...

so many choices I can not decide!!
What I would like
-speaker area to have a cut out not holes
-multi angle support (hoping one of the angles makes it easy to type on the screen)
-switch from portrait to landscape
-not funny smell
-protect the sides
-cant cover the charging port when closed
-openings for ports power and volume rocker
-it would be cool if it had a sleeve in the inside
-protection obviously important ( I am used to using otterboxes on my smartphone, I have got one on my galaxy nexus) I would like to keep this tablet with a thin profile I am looking to just being able to protect it from dings, bumps and being able to keep in my briefcase not worring about it shifting around in there.
-Going for a nice looking leather finish good quality work in a business environment
Hope I am not to picky lol
