USB on Transformer Prime

I have connected my Transformer Prime to my Win7 PC via USB for transferring files and it is pathetically slow - almost useless, a small file transfer evokes a message "Please wait the TF201 is busy" and in then sits there and does nothing for 20 minutes.

Asus have made a first-rate cock-up of the Prime - GPS is laughable and USB transfer is inoperable!!

Try doing a factory reset.Fixed USB transfers for me.

I havent had any issue with usb speeds. Was suprised how quick it was given complaints.

Thanks - but will I have to re-download all my installed apps?

Yes you will. You will also lose some preinstalled items but probably not an issue. For example the included book I think and also the included songs. You can back those up.
