Default Running out of internal storage
Under Settings/storage, my internal storage shows a total of 27.67GB with only 649mb free. The details permanently say 'calculating'.

I have tried using Apps2sd apps, but they too lock up. I have connected the Prime to my PC, and deleted anything I can, but that has freed up only about 10mb, and I can't see anything taking up large amounts of space.

How do I get more space?

Get the app Disk Usage to figure out what is using up your space.

Thank you for that. But - next problem: when I try to delete files or folders, I get a message saying: Error - file not deleted.

Sounds like you need to do a full reset of your device. You might want to try a soft reset first, to see if it helps.

Yes, I have done a full reset. Now I have about 25gb free.
