What plugin/app do I need to watch the videos embedded into the BBC news and weather site. The videos appear to start loading but never display, youtube videos are OK.

Are you using the BBC mobile version or bbc.co.uk/news ? I find the mobile version useless, and the TF tries to run the mobile version but you can force it not to, I think you need ADOBE Air & maybe ADOBE flash player 11.1. Today the BBC have been running video about the US postal service & I have just re-run it on the TF with no sign of choppiness,
hope this helps, & also the BBC's iPlayer uses "Air" & that runs well on the TF.
