Default HDMI to computer screen?

Has anyone had any success with displaying the video output (probably through the HDMI out port) of the Transformer (or its derivative - Slider) onto a computer screen? This would be helpful to display presentations through a standard screen projector.

Yes, I have watched movies, youtube, played games and used it as a video player at parties. I use an HDMI to Mini converter and I have a HDMI to Mini cable both work well.
Gnex on VZW....I know Im paying for it.

I've connect via HDMI to a TV, never tried to a monitor, but the HDMI out does indeed work.
