Default Print Emails Other Than Gmail

Hi Guys,

I'm new to the Forum and a new user of the ASUS Transformer TF700t.

So far I am managing to work out the interface of the Tablet, but I am frustrated with one problem I have found. I am unable to print any emails, unless they are gmails.

I have two independent email accounts, which the TF700 downloads with out any problem, but as soon as I select print, the gmail account opens, wanting me to print from there.

I have tried Print Share, Print Bot and even an app from Brother, specifically for Brother printers and the same thing happens ever time........try to print an email and the Gmail Account opens.

Is there an app available, that will allow me to print any email, or does Google have complete control and will only let you print emails from Gmail?

Thank You.

I have both the Brother and PrinBot apps. I use the Kaiten app for my emails. This is what I do. Open the email app and choose the email you want to print. Then I hit the button that allows me to to reply etc. Then I choose "share" from the list of options. Up comes a list of apps I can share it with. I can choose either of my print apps. It works fine with the the Brother app so have never bothered trying with Prinbot.

I don't know if it works with the stock email app but, as I say, it works fine with Kaiten.

By the way it works the same in most other apps that handle documents and pictures, like EzyPDF, AK Notepad, Dolphin Browser, Gallery, and Polaris Office. Choose either "send", "send to" or "share" and you should get offered one or both of the print apps.
