I agree, I am looking at this tablet to upgrade my laggy TF700. This device looks amazing.

Any one confirmed that the 701 fixes the laggy 700 issues?

Lag problems confirmed fixed, though the 701 does come with it's own set of issues. None of them performance based, thankfully. The biggest complaint so far (over at XDA) mostly has to do with the tablet and the dock not maintaining a solid connection. The tablet itself is screaming fast.
