One of the reasons I have waited to get my 300 is so far there are no cases. The TF201 cases will work, but they headphone jack and a few other cutouts are off. Just curious what others are buying.

I'm currently working with BobJ, who's made silicone cases for the Toshiba Thrive, and is currently developing silicone cases for the new iPad iPad2, Transformer Prime and Transformer T300.
These are very high end, food grade silicone cases, with access to all of the ports.
The case for the Asus will fit both Transformer Prime and the new T300's.
He's estimating a release date of end of May, early June.
I'm working with him, and have a prototype of the Transformer Prime/T300 case.
If you're looking for a quality silicone case, that will provide excellent protection, this is a great option! Silicone isn't for everyone, but I've really enjoyed it... provides protection and better grip.
You can go to bobjgear.com to check out what they look like. You can also see the great reviews his Thrive cases have received on Amazon!

Should be available in the next few weeks. My wife has one for her galaxy and it is really nice. Very slim and works well. I have a thicker case for my iPad and I don't like that as much. With tablets this sexy you need a slim case...

I purchased the official cover for the eee pad transformer that actually clips into the hardware slots on the bottom of the tablet. It fits like a charm but I had to do some slight filing to ensure a snug fit for the charger while the case is on. Not necessary though. I found the case at office max. I can send a few pics if anybody is interested in seeing the cover.

Would love to see some pics, also, what did it cost?

Asus Sleeve Case
Here are some pics of my setup. Despite the 50/50 negative and positive reviews, I have found the case to be exactly what I'd hoped it to be. It keeps the case thin and protects it when not in use. It also folds to allow the tablet to be propped in multiple positions. I also purchased the skinomi carbon fiber skin. The skin is excellent, but the included screen protector is sh**... It has been installed for weeks and there are thousands of microscopic bubbles under the screen that make it impossible to use in good lighting (go with a zagg if you're looking for a good one). Here is a link to the case on amazon (I got mine sitting in the clearance section at Office Max for $15). http://www.amazon.com/ASUS-Sleeve-Case-Eee-Transformer/dp/B0067VGTJ2/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1337710103&sr=8-4
I've been a fan of the otterbox cases for my phones for quite a while, and this tablet will be riding in the the truck with me a good bit...I'm seriously thinking about getting one. Just not sure if its really necessary.

Interesting, it uses the dockingholes to hold the sleeve. Is this the exact case you got, cause it does not really state that it's compatible with a TF300.

Yeah, I bought it in store so I was able to actually take it out and try it. It fits perfectly

It was the only one that I found at Best Buy, when I bought my TF300T, and it is very nice, it has a Stylus holder, and space for all the connections, but I miss a hole in the front cover for the power connection. To recharge you must leave it opened...

Is similar to the moko case but has no handstrap. Got it today from Amazon uk, its plastic like the others, fits very well is finished well and is comfortable to use. The faux leather material has a good grippy feel.
I ordered a black silicone case for mine off ebay for $13. It fits well and makes the tablet feel more secure in my hands. And it feels like it will help protect it.
Let me know how you like the silicone... I have one for my phone and love it but thought it might be a bit much for the tablet.
okay, the jury is still out on the silicone case. It does make it have a much better grip because without the case it really feels like it could slide out of my hand. It does add a little weight and takes away from the sexy design but I feel a lot better about carrying it around with the cushioning rubber to help in a possible drop, also I think this will make drops less likely, idk if it fits with the keyboard dock because I haven't bought a dock yet but it does have precut openings for the dock so it might.

Regarding my case I posted above:
Pretty snug, comfy.
One problem though, if you don't center it precisely in the case, the camera gets slightly blinded at the back. You have to make sure it's aligned properly before taking a pic. Kinda annoying.

Have the Roo case. Fits great & have it in 2 colors as I could not make up my mind.
You do have to leave the case open in order to charge it but that is not a big deal to me. All the other openings fit great. I'm very happy with it as it protects the tablet & there is no worry about where the tablet is placed as long as the case is closed. I really like it & don't mind the extra size as protection is more important.
