Text plus and line 2 are very good texting apps.

I use Tablet Talk. It connects to my phone via bluetooth and works great!

I had that problem when I first tried using Tablet Talk. I did a factory reset on both and they connected.

I just wanted to add that both my phone and tablet are rooted running custom ROMs. They both have a custom recovery too. The phone has CWM and the tablet has TRWP.

i found this AMAZING text app in (play store) called MightyText you put in - first on you phone then on your tab and if you want on your computer (they are synced together) it is awesome.... i love it its actually what i wanted when im texting snd have my tablet and do not want a "number" that some might not recognize.. all that crap...

Of all the ones I have looked at the mighty text looks the easiest. Have put it on my phone and when I get home will put it on my tablet and see how it works.

Tablet Talk also allows you to make phone calls from your tablet! . I'm pretty sure Mighty Text doesn't do that.

Thanks for the mighty text. Was exactly what I was looking for. Simple and to the point. Played with it some last night.

I know what you mean. All these people on here know so much. Don't ever think anything I might have to contribute can even match what they can come up with. Lol great group of people to learn from.

That's what makes AF so awesome. Everyone can share their experience with an app, ROM, etc. . The more people share, the more choices and ideas others will have to choose from.

I've been around for a little while but I learn something new just about everyday in here or over at XDA.
