Search for "aRoot" on the atrix forum at XDA.

If you have 1.5.7 - you can check in your phone's settings, and if you did an OTA update, then you have 1.5.7 - then make sure you download v2 instead of the original.

Works like a charm! And trust me... when the Atrix first came out, rooting on OS X was an absolute nightmare, so be glad you're starting the process now!

edit - I forgot to ask if you have Bell or AT&T atrix. I'm pretty sure aRoot works fine for them both, but make sure it works for Bell is that's what you have!!

Hi there, this is great information, thanks.

I just have one question if I did the OTA update, this will still root it?

Thanks much
