Just got Atrix and have hardly no reception in my house!
Hello I just switched from the iPhone 3 to the Atrix (my first Android phone) and I absolutely love it. The only downside (a big downside) is I hardly have any reception in my house and I live in town. I know it is my area, but when I had my iPhone I had at least 3 bars consistently and could always get on the Internet and make and receive calls.
I have 30 days to keep this phone or trade it in (I was going to get the iPhone 4). I really don't want to trade it in. I've called customer service, technical support and my local AT&T store. All they say is I need to buy $200 device called a micro cell. I'm sorry, but if I'm paying $100+ bucks a month for service I am certainly not dishing out another $200 for something that I should already be receiving.
What should I do? Is there anything I can do on my phone to get service? I was thinking I could use the wifi from my wireless Internet to solve that problem. I need to get a new router though.
Any ideas?
