I have an Atrix and a couple problems associated with text/MMS messaging. First off, why do pictures show up as a slide show as opposed to regular pictures? Someone will send me a picture, and my atrix thinks it is a 30 second video.. the first 10 seconds black, the middle 10 seconds the picture, and the last 10 seconds black. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Could it be the sender's phone? Other times I have received multiple pictures at once, at which time the Atrix does not allow me to scroll through them easily like I used to be able to with my iPhone, it once again shows up as a movie and I have to drag the "time bar" to the point in the "movie" where the pictures exist. How do I get rid of that? I just want to simply receive pictures... how could such a basic function not work on an android phone?

Even worse, recently text messages have been showing up empty with an icon that says "download" and a note saying "expires: April 29, 15:40" etc (always 4 days from the time I receive the text). So i click it, and the button turns to "downlaoding" and then nothing pops up. I have confirmed with those sending the texts to me that sometimes they have been pictures, and sometimes they have been simple texts that just wont show up, just a button that says "download".. and then it never downloads.

These two problems are among many that I am worrying about my $200 decision to switch from an iPhone to the Atrix. Someone please help...

Not sure about the second problem...but first one is a simple fix!

When you receive a picture inside a text...long press on the picture itself and that brings up a menu with a couple different options...view picture is one of them!
