Android update did something to my Atrix ;(

Okay so i got the android 2.3 update and it's pretty AWESOME!! but it deleted my music app, so does anyone know how to get that back, cause i NEED IT!!

There is an updated music player installed on gingerbread. You can find the homescreen widget under Motorola Widgets>Music: Now Playing. So far i am really digging this stock player. It now lists songs in album order instead of alphabetically..about time!

I'll have to check out the new Stock player. I've been partial to "PowerAMP."

I love the lock screen feature (Don't have to unlock to play/pause, skip, back...)... Built in Graphic EQ you can customize or use one of the pre-sets (Pre-sets SUCK!!!)...
As for the sort order... I keep my media players on SHUFFLE... I don't need no stinking SORT order!!! LoL!

I just looked at the new stock Music app.... HOW CRAPPY!!!

It's just as UGLY as the new Gallery!!!
Oh, and for it to get media info from the Web (like cover art), you have to agree to SHARE your activity?? Frack that!!

There's another stock app they ruined in this update!

I hear ya with the SHUFFLE. I use that a lot with my playlist too. But I also have albums that were intended to listen to in order.. ie Pink Floyd's "The Wall".

I don't use my phone for stuff that serious. I use my phone for when I'm out walking/Hiking/working out and want a random mic of tunes.

Hey Wolfman, I just installed PowerAmp and am happy to report that it too now lists songs in album order! This was a big deal for me in the past and the reason I just stuck with the stock player. Time to give PowerAmp a go!

I won't hold that against it, PowerAMP is still the best media player out there!

I think the feature you'll love is the LOCK SCREEN.
Check this out:

This is the screen you get when you press the unlock button (Finger Print Scanner) if you configure PowerAMP's Lock screen feature.
It gives you almost full control over the media functions without unlocking the phone.
And, if you need to unlock the phone, just press the button at the bottom to go to the normal lock screen.
LOVE IT!!

I think stock player offers lockscreen controls since the update.
