Firstly, I've looked around a bit here along with other places and it seems like my home screen isn't the same as everyone else's. It looks like most people, with factory setting, have a green call button on the bottom left, a black/white circle button in the bottom middle, and a blue contacts button on the bottom right. But on my phone, even after a factory reset, it has 4 buttons on the bottom of the screen. From left to right, it has a different phone button, an email button, a browser button, and a square button thing that opens all the apps on the phone. I'm just wondering if this is a common occurrence or do I have a different phone or OS or something?
Secondly, I recently added a data plan to my phone plan as I bought this phone used and I can't seem to be able to use data outside of a wifi area. I live in Ontario and am with Fido. I've tried turning on the settings for data along with creating a new APN using information I've found on the internet but I still can't seem to use data outside of wifi. Do any of you know what the problem might be?
Thanks a lot for your help!

1st) the screen shots u see r of froyo (android version 2.2) you should now have gingerbread (android version 2.3) running on your phone. Gingerbread utilizes a 4 button dock.
2nd) have u tried calling ur carrier about the data plan?? Always a possibility that it wasn't switched on by them
