I just purchased the Atrix last night. Everything on it was working fine. I could call, text, and change the settings, without having a data plan.

The person i bought it from left all there media and info on it so instead of going through and deleting everything one by one i did a reset on the phone. I was unaware of the phone being unlocked so when i did this, now multiple apps come up with an error saying, "this application is not installed."

I can no longer open the dialer, phone-book, or settings and multiple other apps because of this error.

I am wondering if there is anyway to fix this? I do not have a data plan and cannot open a Google account on there because of this. Would that make a difference in the apps not working?

Regardless of data plan you can always connect to the internet via wifi. Are you on ATT? If so it should automatically connect to a an att wifi hot spot, go that route.

When i first got the phone it would allow me to do that. but after the reset i can no longer open the settings to connect to a WiFi spot.

multiple apps have the application not installed error and many others show the (application) unexpectedly stop running message.

Is my phone screwed?
