2012 Chevy Cruze for me. Bought it brand new last year November and I love it. Turbo charged 4 cylinder
in the second and last picture you can see my previous car haha 1982 Chevy Malibu Classic. I was the 2nd owner of it haha
How is the trans in yours? I have to get used to mine..it shifts differently than my last car but from what I hear, it's normal. Like when you are stopped at a light, apparently the trans shifts into neutral, then when you take your foot off the brake to put it on the gas, the trans will engage....a wierd feeling

Never heard about that! haha. At first I thought it was shifting down a little weird but that was just me getting use to it. One thing I love about this car is the automatic manual option. I have used it many times this winter, helped me actually stop at a stop sign that was nothing but ice, and then coming down hills with ice and snow too.
Some one did tell me that when you come off a stop it skips first gear but I don't quite know about that.

I got bitten by the Diesel bug in 2009 and changed all my vehicles to oil burners.
My daily drive is a 2010 BMW 335D and alternate vehicle is a 2011 ML350 BlueTec.
I also got my daughter a 2011 VW Jetta TDI.
Man I love the 425 lb ft Torque of the 335D!! Despite driving it like I stole it I get an average od 30.9 US MPG or around 500 Miles per tank!
The VW Jetta TDI gets 40 US MPG on avearge but it's a 2.0L TDI.
Device(s): ADR6200, ADR6350, ADR6425... and back to ADR6350.

I am partial to the hooptie. I spend under 1k, pay very little in insurance, fix it myself, and don't care if some idiot wants to play chicken over a parking spot. They last me (up to) a couple years and cost me near nothing to maintain.
Eventually living in Minnesota, the land of roads paved in salt, catches up with me, and something big breaks. And in the words of Eazy-E, I " throw it in the gutta, and go buy anotha"

The Ugly Truckling!
I like how people driving newer vehicals get out of the way when they see the hoopties coming. They figure we don't care what happens and or no insurance.
I like the bike!

A silver color 2012 SEAT Leon which I bought in March of 2012. Has been great so far, but the 1.6 N/A engine is crappy, but then again the price of 95 gasoline (the minimum any turbo-charged car should use) went through the roof and would result in my bankruptcy if I had a TSi, so I'm happy.
I have a 2005 Dodge Magnum R/T. She is close to candy apple red and I love her! We refer to her as Maggie.
dinc is inoperative so no shots, yet!
Purchased Maggie October of 2004 and this past summer was the first and only time I had to change her battery. The battery rides in the inside the cabin, in the rear along with the spare tire. I did change out the tires because the original tires didn't feel right!
It is time to do some motor mounts and I suspect taking her out to the drag strip has had a little something to do with that issue!
I haven't had any other mechanical trouble...(knocking on wood)!
Anybody with motor mount, flat rate repairs, please chime in because I don't have the money to take it to someone and I couldn't afford to pay the rates places get to do that particular job! I know I should post this in the Dodge forum but I figured,"what the heck!"
One of these days, I will submit a simple sentence response!
Thanks for reading,
D
No point in posting a pic (but I can if anyone wants) of my car, it's a 2005 Subaru WRX with almost bone stock exterior, just wheels, tires, exhaust... but lots of love on the inside and in the engine bay. I actually imported a Japanese motor that's never been officially sold outside of Japan because they are just so much better than what we get in North American markets.
LOVE the ugly truckling! As someone ALWAYS worried about their car I could really dig a vehicle with zero stress.

I drive this (2013 Chevy Spark) :
Some find it ugly, but I do not. It's surprisingly decent on the freeway (I bought for Gas Mileage). Aside from that, everyone comments how "roomy" it is inside. It also has all the tech stuff I want (Touch Screen radio with bluetooth. I love listening to podcasts on the way home from work). It also has Onstar and Sirius/XM. I didn't think I would keep either, but Onstar has an awesome app and Sirius has some great music for when I'm not listening to podcasts on my phone.

bought a 2012 VW Jetta TDI about this time last year. about to roll 17k miles, and averaging 40.1 MPG.
the car is very plain jane, but i'm loving the fuel economy. don't think i'll ever go back to gasoline.
Represent.
I have a 2012 VW Jetta TDI Premium w/ Nav myself. I average 35-38mpg per tank, mostly due to lots of city driving. I have gotten as high as 50mpg on a 4 hour trip. 7300 miles so far.

Am I the only Jag owner on the forum?
She was born in 1995 and has a 3.2 straight 6 engine. She spent the first 18 months of her life as a chauffeur driven company director's car. That was followed by 12 months being owned by a private individual. It was then bought by a Wedding company and kept in top nick until I bought it in 2010. Any Brits here will know what I mean when I say that when I got her she had 12 months MOT, a full Jag service history and even 4 months road tax.
Sorry if I broke the site but any excuse to show her off and I do. I haven't told you the best bit yet. She cost me all of £1,000. Don't believe me? Check up my purchases on eBay.co.uk from the time period. My user name is stevie_blunder**

Yer you broke the site
If your selling in the near future let me know, when my Mum and her hubby are back from Panama Beach I think they are looking for a Jag to run around in.....seriously
By the way I am just down the M6 near Maghull
i love that dash. the car was only $995 and i traded my Fifth Avenue on it. it runs perfectly well (3800 V6) and everything works except the A/C (compressor is locked up) and right front window (needs motor).
it is the SSE, which means all the toys are there except the supercharger (which was on the SSEi). it includes not only a neat MSD monitor display but also a nice graphical compass and HUD
I'll popst pics of my car sometime... LOVE the dash on that Pontiac. I chuckle at 'new' dash features on cars that were here in the '80's and early '90's.
the SSE is not too common in town (and the 1992 generation is rare--most i see are '94-up) and most in junkyards are just the bare bones SE with cheap cloth interior and no center console. i got lucky with this one, it still had a current oil change sticker on the windshield, and a glovebox full of maintenance receipts
