Default Crackle is now free? Nook Color?
I see that CRACKLE (Movies and Tv shows) is out now and no longer a subscription service.

I see that is currently doesn't support the XOOM or TAB yet...

Was wondering if anyone has had any luck yet getting this on the Nook?

Ok....

I have answered my own question.... LOL!

Found the .apk and installed....

CRACKLE runs pretty good on the Nook Color.

The service is supported via advertising and I haven't watched a complete program yet.

Once you select content, you are first presented a commercial. Be advised that the quality is unwatchable (very very low rez), but once it gets past the commercial, quality is pretty good.

It does appear to be dropping frames during content place back, but it's not too bad...

One must assume it will only get better...

So, here's another option to Netflix... free TV shows.... Free Movies.

Android Market won't install it. It says it's(Crackle) not compatible with the nook color.

Installed on two NC's, both running CM 7.1.0 RC1. Crackle runs on my wife's, but not mine. I thought it might be due to adblock, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Hmmmm... after 8 tries, it worked.

This app is worth it just to be able to watch The Three Stooges anywhere and anytime I want...LOL
