Blush Rooting etc.

I've recently rooted my phone, and have installed titanium backup (free). I've removed some programs such as mobile banking, allsport gps, any instant messaging programs, att maps, att navigator, music id, google talk etc. Now when I start my phone, I always have a force close com.google.process.gapps. I can't download from the market any longer it just says starting download. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated. You can find me on messenger live - m.a.bove@hotmail.com.

Obviously you removed something you shouldn't have. Flash back to a nandroid backup from before you started removing things.

you've probably removed some apps you shouldn't have, Titanium is a very helpful/dangerous tool. What phone do you have? so I can direct you to a more specific help forum.

Yes, I understand that, but foolishly I decided to remove programs before downloading anything like a ROM Manager. I haven't backed anything up :/

you will have to reflash a stock rom for your phone

moved this to your phone's forum...

looks like, there isn't much development with your phone, I'll take a look around for some relevant information that may help.

Have you tried doing a factory reset?

Another option would be to upgrade to froyo.

Happy

Thanks for the help sdrawkcab25, glad to know there are still kind enough people out there. For anyone reading this thread that has encountered the same problem, or maybe you just want to upgrade your Backflip's Android from Cupcake to Eclair while all else has failed... Restoring your Backflip back to OEM (NAND re-flash) I found this link very helpful. As far as I know, the Motorola Backflip is only capable of running Eclair (I could be wrong). Follow the instructions on the aforementioned link to the "T" and you shouldn't have any problems. sdrawkcab25, when I go to root my phone now, any suggestions?
