not sure. Have you tried a different version of root explorer? An fc isn't necessarily a root issue. I'd try removing root explorer, wiping the dalvik cache, then re-installing it. If that doesn't work, try an older version of root explorer.

You have to be typing something wrong. Every phone has a folder named data and in that folder is a sub-folder named dalvik-cache, which contains .dex files for every single program installed on the phone, be it on the system partition or otherwise. Can you copy and paste what you typed so i can see if you maybe typed something wrong.

lol ok I know its getting kinda late. Staring at the phone and command prompts all day gets to be a little mind-numbing after a while... One more question though: How did you install root explorer?

The only other thing I can think of is to try resetting the phone through recovery again if you didn't already do so after pushing the new root files through adb.

Ya, you should have root for apps setup before you start installing apps that use root. Let me know what happens. I'm calling it a night.

what kinda of battery life is everyone getting? I'm getting 24 hrs with moderate usage and wifi on. I want to gather details to post in the first post so people can make an educated decision on what rom is best for them.

Update on Development: Just did a system recovery and did not get asked to choose launcher so I assume that is fixed, also have new ADW. I also pushed the market from galaxy but it may not work when you flash. Will post rom later. Dont have a force close on dialer. Any recommendations for the update?

is there any way to modify framework-res.apk to black out the clock and maybe the battery indicator in the status bar? I use widgets for both which both give more info than the status bar can. Maybe an optional file that users could push if they wanted. Glad to hear twlauncher has been removed!

since samsung completely messed up the framework-res.apk to get touchwiz to work properly, we no one knows where the battery color file is, as for the battery I could probably replace the files with a black icon or delete the files in general however that could cause problems with the framework and not booting. I will look into it though

ok well I took a look into the clock thing, and while it is probably possible, the proper file isnt where it should be and better men than I have tried to change it. As for the browser Microhaxo tried to change it with better browser but it didnt work for him.

I did notice your odin image didn't have a kernal in it. So anyone looking to root has to flash the rooted kernal. Also I have been using bh_man recovery for adb access. Can you include it in the next image?

I will look into including that in the next one, im putting out an update with Root and twlauncher removed as we speak, i didnt include it on the last one because there were so many issues with getting root to work properly but it is included along with the proper root fix in it

I've used it on all versions of this rom and on OTA Tweaked v2 and v3 with no bugs, fc's or other issues. I can also send it on aim (pretty sure you can still transfer files on aim, just haven't used it in forever...)

I still prefer the free version of xScope gl over the other browsers. Really though the biggest feature I like is easy access to changing the user agent.
