Hey. was wondering if the vibrate issue has been fixed with galaxy? I'd like to try this out but can't lose the vibrate as I need it on vibrate most of the time.

Flashed my Wifes BH2 just the other night. this thing is stupid fast now. Great work. For those of you that are using Android for the first time....the stock BH2 FW gives it a bad taste. Put the "Normal" android on your BH2 and you will see what everyone is raving about. iPhone killer

Can someone tell me where to find the Speaker phone fix. I saw someone say that there is a fix for it, but i cant find it anywhere. Thanks for the help.

i would very much like to but i'm cautious on the vibrate functionality and the BH2 camera (i've read it's better than the stock camera)....if there's a workaround on those two i'd be the first to try it

The quality of the camera is still there you just don't get all the bells & whistles in the settings options. It's still 10x better than the Mytouch 3G camera.

You guys are doing some amazing work here.

I'm having a couple issues though:

Phone was working great before the updated files were added to the guide. I ODIN'd back to stock, and then redid the process with the updated files. Everything was working for the past couple days, but this morning my phone now randomly reboots itself, gets back into the OS, but then resets again when you try to unlock it.

Will ODIN'ing back and redoing it again fix this? Or is this something more people than I are seeing with the new files?

Edit: I did run the Recovery Image and it started doing it again after about an hour or two. Looks like ODIN is the answer.

no you can always go back with the odin download thing, its in the forums, it puts you back to stock behold 2. So then you can get the over the air update and then go back to custom roms. Installing the galaxy rom has the necessary steps to install the custom rom along with rooting your phone!

did you remember to unmount your SDcard from the computer?
EDIT: Also make sure you have the 3 downloads extracted to the ROOT of your SDCARD

Anyone able to give me a link or explain how to get the speaker phone fix? thanks!

after you ODIN try to do a factory restore before you do anything else just to make sure.

Has anyone flashed back to stock, downloaded the update and then reinstalled the Galaxy Rom? If so, is it worth the effort?

@ tritran18518, if you're having problems with the ODIN process it might be the USB cable. I went thru similar issues where it was taking a long time (close to an hour) to download and wouldn't even work on certain computers. Buying an after market data cable solved the issue for me.

Odin is kind of weird software. I used it 3 times, first time , it stopped at 5/9. the second time it stopped at 6/9,, and the third time it stopped at 8/9. All three time , i just remove battery, plug it in again, pressed the power button , and every thing is solved.

if your refering to Notahotshot last reply... then yes and no... its a hybrid made by bh_man where it basically just removes the twiz... but check out that thread.. i would do the hybrid because you get to keep camera and vibrate.. i personally think its a touch smoother and faster

use the volume (down) at the side of the phone, the middle button (of the keypad), and the end button.

I learned that last night while installing the rom.

thanks to the deev guys for the upgrade!! My B2 runs a lot faster. no bloatware. heck no telenav and diner dash which I don't use

Sounds like a neat feature. I just got my first Android phone. I want to try this to see how much faster it will be and to get better battery life.

I don't know why, but before I redid everything, I tried to download an app. and it works now. So I guess all I needed to do was reboot. It works so good now it's soooo fast. The stock texting doesn't work but I never use that anyhow, I've been using Handcent since it came out, and I love it. That works fine on this rom. I've very thankful though to all of those that figured this out and put up this thread. I was sick and tired of stock BH2. That's not to say they may have a couple updates that makes the stock version cool, but I'm not going to hold my breath. I'm looking forward to BH_MAN'S 1.6 and perhaps Eclair for this whenever it comes out. I'm really glad we got one good Dev. that cares about the BH2. If it wasn't for him we'd be screwed, lol. Everyone else is busy making Nexus builds and stuff for the MT3G and the G1 still. I can't say I blame them, I'd love to have a nexus one. I'm just going to save up and get the next version of it. I'm sure in 6 or 8 months there'll be a Nexus two or something like that, and I'll grab that. lol . For now I'm more than happy with my BH2

That's for sure, and as busy as he get's he always takes time out to answer a dumb question from me or whoever, he's a cool guy too.
