Then i clicked root check in the optimizer app and it said "your phone has been rooted but you refuse android optimizer to use root permisions. So you cannot use the function please use super user to allow it." and i cant seem to remedy it. Nor have i been able to delete any stock apps, any ideas?

If z4 actually worked, you'll need to download superuser to allow apps to use root.
