I found an app called smart vibrator app but havent had a chance to look and see if it will work or not yet. I am charging my phone now then will update to the newest pack and see. I went back to the stock/twiz last night after i tried to put the stock keyboard on the build and it wiped out everything back to the original state after the port over. I did something wrong but I dont know what yet.
Well smart vibe app doesnt work and I havent had any luck with others ive tried. I did get the stock keyboard on the newest build but it always FC on me.
Hmm voice search does work but only intermittently. I noticed it when I tried using the voice to text function on handcent and thought I wasn't speaking clearly enough for it to process. Turns out it uses google's voice app just like the voice search etc. So I tried using voice search and after a good few tries acting like a broken record from repeating myself, it works. When it doesn't work, it seems like it is closing itself out early before it even gets to process the voice data at the next popup box.
I think its any keyboard you try to use except the android one. I am having the same problem with the stock keyboard I put on.
HTC_IME is working for me perfectly. Not a crash yet on the R1 rom. I will upgrade in a version or two since I never had luck doing back ups on my phone. Also Overclock widget works incase those who were trying setcpu have yet to get that to work.
I believe someone was asking for an app/widget for full screen calendar but Im too lazy to look for who it was. But Im using Pure Grid Calendar and its awesome. Its on market so go check it out. Comes in 4x2, 4x3, and 4x4(full screen) with skinnable option.
Guys I know everybody's excited an all and wants to see certain aspects that might pertain to them work but we can't keep harassing BH_MAN every step of the way. Some of these issues are easy fixes and you should be able to figure it out yourself.
I know if I was BH_MAN I would feel like you guys are a bunch of ingrates. It just seems like everybody has their hand out screaming me me me me ....

Thank you, what a relief, I was getting scared that you were ignoring me lol. This was the only issue I was having before I felt that this rom was usable

Like we say all the time in the Army, you are known by your failures not your successes, but to keep alive what Shawn says:
YES in programing there will always be bugs and this is part of life, BH_MAN is doing a hell of a job for himself and all of us, I'm more than sure that he has better things to do than pay attention to the BH2 but he's chooses not to. So lets report the bugs and lets be supportive of his work.
I like the switcher app for wifi/blutooth/gps/sync that was in one of the stock no twiz builds. Anyone have any idea what the name of it is or where I can get it?
You're probably referring to OpenHome. It's a paid app. Like $4.
Has anyone else noticed that the lights on the pysical keys flash while you are on a call? Is it just me?
Also I have had an anomoly with the speaker that has happened twice...first someone will call and the speaker is barely hearable, and no matter what speaker stays low even media players and everything. Reboot fixed it. Then happened again but nothing else was effected and the speaker fixed itself...strange stuff.

actually he's referring to the app called "switcher". and it's been mentioned that it's not really needed anymore since 1.6 comes with the same type of app widget as part of the os. an alternative I use which is not a widget but an app I have as a Shortcut is Quick settings. I highly recommend it if you're looking for similar functionality.

I had the Speaker thing happen to me a few times on bone stock TW. It's just an anomaly.

Well I, of course, had the mms problem at first but after installing and customizing handcent the speaker issue was the only other strange thing I've seen and I've been running it and using it since the min released. Also battery life seems better, no sleep issue is vastly improved, and the corrected battery meter is so nice!

ok 2FR35H and paul89 - just because you reply a lot doesnt mean you are always helping. ive been working with android for a while and i can read. i dont appreciate you guys being know it alls.
OK byt3b0mb, I'm sorry!
Yes you are right post count means nothing, but who says that I was implying that to mean that I was a know it all? The real reason why I have so many post is because I am obsessed with Android!
So do you forgive me?

i can read, i was posting results. i have also been working with android since it came out on the g1. so lets have bh_man answer what he meant by that post. ask him if you can chmod a directory or if you need to flash a different build first. you dont need a different build to chmod a directory. that is basic linux actions. i agree that you help people and that is appreciated. what is not appreciated is being condescending or conceited.
i am sorry for being brash - i just do not appreciate being talked to like a noob because i dont have a high post count. which doesnt equate to not knowing how to read or how to use google.

Anyway just a little update...battery life is much better in this version for me. i've been using it like a mad man all afternoon (almost 7 full hours now) and still at 60%, so i'm happy.
@BH_MAN i want to thank you for all your hard work for the B2 community, especially with all the wonderful and hectic things happening for you outside the B2. if you never released another ROM i would be content with all that you have done...but i hope that you will. your the best man!

@BH_MAN, was the A2SD a failure? Or did you not have a chance to try it yet?
absolutely! no hard feelings! i too am obsessed with android-flashed at least 8 times today.... now...back to the bh2 hacking....
remember the good old days with the G1 ? I wish this phone did make it so hard to do all the things we were able to do with that phone (A2SD, Recovery, easy updates, the list goes on!)
The Samsung Behold 2 for T-Mobile greatly improves on the first version of the phone by adding Android to the mix, providing for a powerful combination of hardware and sowftware. With Android, Samsung's custom TouchWiz UI, a 3.2-inch AMOLED Tou... Read More
