Honestly I'd go to R11 then update to Revision 6 Kernel.
There was a huge amount of Bugs that was fixed in R11
hey BH_MAN is the revision 6 kernel compatible with the stock 1.6 rom? sorry to post here in know its the wrong thread and all but revision 6 kernel was posted here, so sorry to deviate from the topic.

The problem is, your question is so open-ended, where would one start to help you. It would be like hearing the word "hola" and asking someone to explain spanish to you.
You need to start with the stickies on the main part of "All things Root (Behold 2) and read. Specifically:
my question is where do i start, i see i have to download the stuff on my computer, but what do i do after that? and how do i unzip and where do i unzip it exactly? please help me and thanks for responding

I'm not trying to be ugly, but if you don't even know how to unzip a file, you're diving in to very deep water.
I could help you, against my own better judgement, but you'd have to offer up some details.
What version of windows are you using?
Have you installed the drivers for the Behold II yet?
Have you even downloaded the ODIN package?
Unfortunately, I'm leaving here in 15 minutes, and I won't be able to teach you spanish that quickly.
Well, the unstable data connection in R11 is a deal breaker for me, but I can edit the file myself and undo the speed hack right? Or is there more to it than editing the single file? I'm not too worried about it, I'm mainly waiting for Take5 anyway. I'm going to flash Kernel v6 when I get home tonight and see if that speeds up WarHeads on it's own
great rom bro just can't download your old apps for you downloads in the market, its good tho just tell us how to fix and it will be perfect. Thanks man for all ur work my guy
If you flashed it right you should be fine. That is the right kernel version as for the revisions by bh_man, those numbers will not change in any of the .29 kernel revisions.
I have a strange but, after I flash R11 and I got to market to download / install an old software, it downloads and it says its successful but it doesn't install it, just stays there and that's it. I've flashed 2 times my phone and removed properly the A2SD junk that's left behind.
Any suggestions?

Im in the same boat!! Dont know what it is!! tried restarting the phone and nothing!! battery pull and nothing still the same!!! I wonder whats going on?
Guys go into app management in settings, then find market and select it, then push uninstall. It will clear the faulty software but not delete the market app and all will work again! At least it worked for me!

I got this issue as well, a factory reset solved it for me..
If your Memory is reported as 000, then a Factory reset is needed.. Wipe data / cache will not solve it until a reset is done..
Remember if Wiping / Resetting in Recovery.... You hit MENU Button..
Once in the Recovery after Hitting the Reset, Hit Menu
Did 2 reflashes, and system restores and dint work, the rom is nice though.
oh...i see...your issue is the phone not reading space right my bad.
for anyone else: if your only problem is with apps not installing after download then my tip will work for you as it did for me. the space issue surely would require a reset as bh_man stated

Factory reset from settings menu or by holding vol+pow+send?I tried system restore from sd card menu and it dint work.Im bout to reflash and try Behold_this tip and vol+pow+send restore see if it works.
So far I've not any Root issue's yet, & the Speed is just Awesome!!
loving it great work! i'm thinkin bout trying it on the stock 1.6 rom cause well i'm weird and thought the revised stock rom was the most stable for me (mostly cause i need vib), but slow. so i think i'll flash back and see what i see cause i like the stock flavor and any improvement is icing on the cake. but for r11 and revision 6 kernel...well all i can say is i have been using and abusing them all day and they are running as smooth as a factory developed, and install firmware and faster!!!!! thanx again bh_man!

Factory Reset worked for me. No uninstall button on Market, Behold_This, but thanks for the tip!
Thank you, thank you, thank you, BH_Man for this ROM!!!! And the new kernel is screamin fast!!
did you try before or after the reset? cause the reset removes it. in app management the button that usually says clear data said uninstall instead. i pressed it and some data was removed (total size dropped considerably) but app was not uninstalled, and what do you know market started to work again. strange how somethings work for some but not others, huh, go figure. at least you are up and running. i guess everyone should just do the reset then sorry guys. i only posted it cause thats what worked for me when i flashed this rom earlier today.
Meh. Looks like a lot of good stuff has happened the past few days. I feel like a traitor. I don't have my Behold II anymore. I got the HTC HD2. I see that the screenshot that was posted recently looks like the HTC Sense UI that I have on my phone. Very neat. I'm sure someone on XDA will develop an Android rom for this phone. It would run remarkably fast.

Thanks this worked. Loving the ROM so far its blazing fast!!! Thanks BH_Man for all you do!!!
Oh. Right. Didn't notice there was a difference between my post and this person's that is noted above. BH_Man knows we're grateful. Saying it over and over is just as "spamful" and so is your post telling me not to "spam." Take it to PM.
