I'm not sure what's going on here, but when I try to copy files to my SD card by mounting the card, it just sits at the Copying window forever. I've tried different USB ports, same problem.

Here's the window it just sits at:
Any ideas?
By any chance it pop up a msg saying whether you need to scan to fix problem or ignore before it pop up the folder?
I had this problem yesterday and this morning i tried that solution. Worked perfectly fine and the pop up no longer appears. It also helps if you disconnect any usb devices via the Safely Remove Hardware and Eject media button on the lower right corner. Never done it before but lately I think i should for the phone to keep that annoying freeze away.
Yea format. Mount. and when removing, use the safely remove feature. Hope that works for ya.
Hmm so I used the format function on the phone, and after rebooting, I'm getting this error message in my notification bar that says "Blank internal SD card."
Not really as they will be remade once you use the app required them. IE google nav(voice prompt), appmanager(apps), Download_Image(pics in MMS) etc...
As far as comp hanging...hm....have you try other SD card just to see if its not defective? Or maybe the cable also? Not saying it will fix but who knows, it might. lol

Yeah I'm heading over to TMo today to see if they'll exchange the card for me. My wife's doesn't do this (with the same cable) and none of my flash drives do this. So I know it's not the computer.

try using a micro sd card adapter, and plug the sd card directly into your computer without having the sd card in your phone, if it still messes up then you know it is the sd card!
