Shhhhhh It's probably a beta from Samsung or Tmobile that is going to be released soon Shhhhhhh
Quick question, BH man, are you aware how to change clock color in this version? Can't seem to find the right lines (according to a guide on xda). Thanks for the great release!
ok the su in adb did not fully work, I lost it after reboot.
Battery needs a few days to adjust, just drain it till it shuts off and then recharge while it off. With in a few days the battery will improve greatly!
The only way I get root back is by typing su then reboot in adb. @BH_MAN I hope this can be an easy fix for you because other than that this rom is perfect to me!
i am watching the battery drain, and im not even doing anything on the phone
Same with me. I was full charged ran facebook while charging and then exit out and unplugged it for 5 minutes and came back and it was down a bar on the battery meter. Damn!
Oh and does anyone know how I can get the stock android keyboard? Im not good on swype =/ and better keyboard isn't too good imo.

Yea I was a tad disappointed to see swype as the only keyboard option when I loaded this ROM. I was expecting the stock keyboard or galaxy one as I've gotten used to and way simpler. Swype has a 'enter' button that's way too big and gets hit all the time. The numbers are annoying to get to as they are jumbled up when you switch to 'character' mode. Any better keyboards or the stock apk would be much appreciated.
I also hate the stock BH2 twizmms because it pops up this idiotic box that disables you from doing anything that says "sending" after each text. The galaxy one would be great here too, simple and effective. I removed the TwizMms.apk from mine and stuck on Handcent at the moment (it's ok, but too much. simple is better). So if anyone can get a hold of a working simple 1.6 mms.apk that would be great too.
Aside from those two, everything else about this rom is just awesome. I'm a tad bugged from the rounded edges in this and the r8 (i like to maximize my screen real estate), but I am sure editting the framework to change the theme up isn't too hard for me to do myself.
All in all, great job BH_Man. Keep up the good work. Donations will be on the way .
Just do the tutorials in Swype, and you'll get past the issues you're having. It just takes a little practice. I've been using it for a few days and I'll never go back to a regular keyboard; this way is so much easier and faster. If you really want to switch to a different one, then someone already posted how to do it. I'm making the switch to this rom in the morning as soon as my phone finishes charging. Thanks again for all of the hard work BH_MAN! I'll definitely be donating soon!
BHMAN,this rom is almost perfect, except for one thing:when i select wallpapers from photos they come out real grainy and washed out for some reason(quality is really bad),however when i select them from wallpaper gallery they are fine.
I really hope that you keep Swype in next release,Experia clock is nice also,i would be nice to see more X10 apps on bh2,thanx for all the work you put in.
For people that dont like swype, try better keyboard or handcent keyboard(free) both are much better than android stock.
If I remove the TwMms.apk from this rom, will I lose anything important? I just hate not being able to turn off the notification, since I use handcent...
That is acutally an issue with Advanced Launcher and not this Rom. However there is a way around it, just long press on the desktop, Choose Shortcuts, then choose Anycut/BetterCut... then make your shortcut and it will work.

Did,that already still my shortcuts not showing up.
Nobody here having an issue with your own wallpapers(not the stock ones)
looking really grainy and squared?Man,the quality is real bad, never had that problem with any other rom.
The rom works fast, but I just did the flash, charged it from dead with the batter off, and I've only had it running for an hour and the battery is down to 80%. Is anyone else having battery issues?

This is a known issue with Bettercut and Advanced Launcher so don't think it's just this rom. The problem is a tough one to explain but more or less Bettercut will only put icons on the original launcher and nothing else. There is some comments about it here BetterCut – An Improved Version of AnyCut Better Android Apps
Anyone having issues installing certain apps and getting "installation unsuccessful: not enough storage space", but then you can install other stuff just fine?
Specifically for me "the elements" (fun little time wasting game)

I had the same problem its because for some reason its not uninstalling it completely before its updates the fix i found was using android mate (Free) from the market go to the root of your phone in file explorer and then in data/data find the folder that has your app stored and delete
it works for me

I'm having the same issues with my own wallpapers as well that looked fine in galaxy 1.6 R8
Also chiming in to say my battery life is a bit rough, will see over a few days' use.

I charged the phone to full while off, and after 2:50 of up time, the battery is at 67%. I have GPS and network location off, screen at minimum brightness, used 21 minutes of talk time, and almost no data usage aside from downloading a few programs from the market (including a task killer so I can stop the phone from running things all of the time). Is there any fix for this?

Go back to stock =/ . Im going through the same thing but I always charge my battery so its not a huge problem for me. Every custom rom seems to have horrible battery usage.

So far I've not had any of the problems people are reporting with this rom. I've been off the charger for 12 hours...with light to medium use, only 13% of my battery gone. No FC's in messaging or contacts. Plus BH_MAN roms are notorious for having AMAZING battery life, especially when compared to the behold 2 out of box. Possibly a factory reset, or charge the phone to 100% then re-odin?

It is necessary that you restart the phone after so that it makes a difference. If you can press any button besides the Unlock button, Cube or End and the phone screen turns on then the phone is not going on Standby.

I wondered why sometimes when i press other buttons the screen turns on but rarley there is times when it won't do anything! Well that would explain the crappy battery performance because it isn't sleeping

thanks dude! I can't seem to find anything from that app though :-\
I was using the file explorer in the app he suggested. :-( Market says "update" instead of install, so there has to be a trace of it on my phone somewhere.

I charge the phone while off, take it off the charger, then turn it on and then you're saying I need to re-start it a second time? I've followed the instructions to the letter, and I'm getting horrible battery life. It seems like it's decreasing with every flash. I had moderate battery life while stock, it seemed to be about the same on R7, then was drastically shorter on R8, and now on this rom, after only being powered on for 4:33, without any additional activity (and I've made double sure the phone is actually sleeping), my battery is at 53%.
BH_MAN, any ideas what might be causing this? I don't seem to be the only one having this problem. I'm willing to donate $40 if you can squeeze good battery life out of my phone!
Edit: I did just find one bug: Handcent has disappeared, and no matter how many times I re-install it, it disappears immediately. I've tried power cycling the phone too. Possibly an issue caused by Titanium?

This made a carppy week great thanks BH Man and all who helped on it.
I am totally in love with my phone again. SAMSUNG should make a huge donation to BH MAN for fixing there phone. With this software it makes the phone the way it should be.

After installing this rom I'm having the same problem with the battery life also. I've try everything and followed the instructions and still only getting like 6 hours of battery life.

It won't hurt anything if you remove it. It's the first thing I removed after flashing to this rom.
The Samsung Behold 2 for T-Mobile greatly improves on the first version of the phone by adding Android to the mix, providing for a powerful combination of hardware and sowftware. With Android, Samsung's custom TouchWiz UI, a 3.2-inch AMOLED Tou... Read More
