After the Android boot animation my screen goes off and I cannot turn it on. I can remove the battery and boot back in but the same thing happens. I can also enter download mode. I tried installing this 3 times following the odin instructions. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? i am coming from the galaxy ROM.

But since you didn't do that before you switched roms boot the phone without an SD card and add it in after boot and then do the above.

Good lord... it's amazing how some of you make it through life without someone holding your hand every step of the way.
BH_MAN: Loving the ROM. Yes it has it's issues, but I know you'll work out some of the kinks when you get the time.
Everyone else: Please understand this isn't even a released version for the BH2, so it will have it's problems. They'll get worked out in time. Be patient and enjoy what Samsung has failed to give us.

Su will never work in adb as the Kernel has Full Read / write Access to the system... It only Effect's App's...

As the Batterystat.bin is Reset via the Firstboot.sh that I've added... So flashing & then rebooting with Dis-charged battery Sets the Calibration Off First thing which takes even longer for the battery to register correctly via the OS!

Now Regarding Issue's.... Let me work them out and Give me a little Time please.. I know of Most of them & working on them when I get time....
Battery issue...
If you was having better battery Life on the Galaxy R8 port... Thank this Post only & I'll keep an eye on it... If there is alot of thanks I'll include the Auto-CPU Scalling that I had in R8 into this build to improve battery life...
Any cut & Better Cut Issue's...
This is an Issue with Advance Launcher, if super import I would download another Home replacement of your liking for now... as I'll try to included the galaxy Launcher in the Next release for those that want it...
App's Dis-appearing..
Bad install, Not being Fully Removed during Upgrade..
Before installing any update, Remove that App first, un-less there Google.. I have Tested Google apps and they work fine Updating them..
Gtalk issue..
I'm aware of this Issue & have it fixed.. Will be in Next Release...
SU / Root Problem's..
First Reboot the Phone to see if that Fixes it.. Su via ADB does not appear to work, But it Fully does due to the Kernel having Full Read / Write permission.. If you still Can't get Root working, Run these Command from Command Prompt

lovin it BH_MAN. only issue for me is the battery life. but like you said it might just be bad batteries. even in R8 my battery life wasnt that great but now its worse. still way better than nothing. thank you for all your hard work, its much appreciated

I am having trouble with Titanium Backup. The one time I did get it running, it shut down after restoring about a third of my apps and data. Since then, I can't get it to open at all. I have tried to update busy box, but everytime it downloads it gets stuck on 99%.
Any suggestions?

First Mistake was trying to install any other Busybox than the One I put into the system...
Regarding other things you might Do, Read a Few Posts up regarding Root issue's..
Reset Phone, then go to market & download the Maps for now... I'll have a look into this issue..
Sorry to be a pain in the @ss but still not working. I will let your check this out more carefully in the next update (unless you have any other suggestions)

I feel the same way, the only problem I have is the battery, the only time my battery lasted like 3 days was after the OTA bug fix update!
As someone has mentioned before, the way to tell if your phone is sleeping is press the end key after your phone is off for a little while, and if the screen doesnt come on then its in sleep mode, but for me it turns back on???
@BH_MAN can you confirm this??
the only thing I can think of is that going from the .27 kernel to the .29 kernel might be affecting the battery life, because when i was on the older kernel my battery was awesome!

The kernel can Cause this yes... Pending what Modules they built into the Kernel & being we doing have Source for this Kernel it's hard to say...
I modified the Build.prop to reflect the SDK=7 and installed the new YouTube.apk app and from there one I see that Maps FC. Now this did not happen in R8, but thought that the info might help.
Any way this can be fixed to have both, Maps and YouTube? maybe an updated Maps app?

Before changing Roms while using Apps to SD use the following command and then power down:
adb shell
cd /system/sd/app-private
rm -r *
I never could get the * command to work but all other commands worked. My phone still does not boot with the SD card in. Can I restore back to stock and start over?
