Default Behold 2 and Windows Vista 64-Bit

No matter how many times I reinstall the device drivers, they all install correctly besides the Android ADB Device driver. Any help?

I feel your pain. I too have tried in vain to find consistently working drivers for 64 bit versions of windows. After a few months of searching and experimenting, I gave up. What I found was that a lot of people way smarter than I, have given up too. Apparently it is possible to force drivers from the Android SDK package to work if you are willing to press f8 every time you boot your computer, though even then they wont work with Doubletwist or Samsungs PC studio software. I also tried to force them to load under Win 7/64 in XP mode to no avail. If anyone else out there has a solution, I too would love to hear it. Fortunately I also have an old desktop running Vista 32 that I use for syncing my phone, but we shouldnt have to do that.

You shouldn't but it happens. Welcome to the imperfect world of 64bit computing. I'd say unless you are running specialised software that needs 64bit, then why are you running 64bit windows?

64bit is there for access to a greater amount of ram and one only needs that if you are running some big stuff(scientific programs, crazy huge images in Photoshop).

Though if you are 64bit you might be in luck. Try VirtualBox to run a virtual machine of either WinXp or Linux, it will pass through the usb port and there you have adb access. But thats the end of this post, sorry you're on your own with virtualization.

I actually am able to root now on my 64bit system. I rebooted my pc and disabled driver signing and when I checked my device manager everything was installed correctly. Finally. Haha.

How did you get it to work? Was it using the Virtual Box?
